Pastor Gail is married to Kevin M Sherin; mother of three adult children, two adopted daughters Grace and Jennifer living in Orlando area; Son, Daniel, living in heaven.
They are members of Salem Lutheran Church in Orlando, FL.
Her strengths are in teaching and preaching as well as bereavement ministry.
She has also done hospital chaplaincy and hospice chaplaincy and has had formal CPE training with advanced status certification.
Pastor Gail requested a leave of call status; in 1996 from Florida Bahama's Synod; due to care of child with disability (who died in 2017) During this time, she provided pulpit supply and taught Sunday School in home congregations.
Her accomplishments: Fundraising; started children's ministry at Avon Park; helped with organization of Good Shepherd hospice from Winter Haven to begin to operate in Highlands County.
Pastor Gail was our associate pastor from 1991-1994 and is excited to be back at Abiding Savior. She is looking forward to reconnecting with us long-time members and meet our newer members.
